The one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!

Then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”

                                                  Revelation 21:5 NLT

Goodness will be renewed when I erase the old memory of sin.
When Lucifer fell, the light-bearer became the prince of darkness.
Rebelling against Me, that angel-turned-demon tried to usurp My throne.
Perfection will be reinstated when I make a new heaven.

Grandeur will be renewed when I cure the old malady of sin.
The universe’s joyful liberation will accompany the redemption of saints.
The entire cosmos looks forward to freedom from the curse of death.
Paradise will be restored when I create a new earth.

Grace will be renewed when I conquer the old madness of sin.
As in Genesis, so in Revelation—My hovering Spirit will quell chaos.
When high seas are gone—fear, worry, and turmoil will also be gone.
Peace will be recreated when I bring about a new calm.

Government will be renewed when I overrule the old mistake of sin.
Heaven’s capital will be named The Lord Is There—peace will prevail.
Walking heaven’s golden streets, saints will forget earth’s rough roads.
Power will be reestablished when I reign from a new Jerusalem.

Greatness will be renewed when I overpower the old mastery of sin.
My dream—and your destiny—is that you become like Christ.
Your noble resolve cannot defeat sin, but My Spirit will win for you.
Possibility will be realized when you celebrate a new victory.

Glory will be renewed when I wipe away the old traces and marks of sin.
When sadness is obsolete, victory songs will reverberate through heaven.
In your pain-free body, you will dance for joy because of full redemption.
Praise will resound throughout glory when I build a new temple.

Gladness will be renewed when I remove the old misery of sin.
Your permanent address will be deathless, tearless, painless, and sinless.
Face to face, basking in friendship with Me, you’ll enjoy sweet communion.
My Presence will be regained when I welcome you to a new home.
